Scotts Bluff Co. authorities respond to 2 accidents within 30 minutes

On Sept. 19 police and emergency personnel responded to two separate injury accidents reported 27 minutes apart from each other in Scotts Bluff County. 

At 6:52 a.m. a two-vehicle injury accident was reported at the intersection of Highland Road and County Road 28. 

A 50-year-old male from Gering and a 27-year-old male from Texas were involved in a vehicle accident. 

"Names of drivers and extent of injuries, and accident details are not available at this time," Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman said. 

At least one driver was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. 

At 7:19 a.m. a single vehicle injury accident was reported near Highway 92 and Wright’s Gap Road. 

The driver of the vehicle, an 85-year-old rural Gering man, was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. 

Again, Sheriff Overman said, "The driver’s name and extent of injuries and accident details are not available at this time."

Responders to the accidents included the Scotts Bluff Sheriff’s Office, Minatare/Melbeta and Scottsbluff Rural Fire Departments, Valley Ambulance and the Nebraska State Patrol.
