Chronic absenteeism is a major problem at Alliance Public Schools according to administrators, and APS is holding an event to address it with the Alliance community.

On April 11, there will be an event called the Parent Power for School event at the Middle School, at 6 pm for families to challenge this issue.

Anita James, Assistant Principal at Alliance High School discussed the event and chronic absenteeism on this edition of the Post Podcast below.
