Aurora, Nebraska - Rusty Rhynalds of Rhynalds Auction & Realty, LLC, Minden, NE, has been elected President of the Nebraska Auctioneers Association for 2024-2025.
Rhynalds was born and raised in Minden, NE, and he is a first-generation auctioneer. He attended World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa, in June of 2001 while still in high school. He immediately started working all the auctions he could for auction companies in Nebraska and Kansas. He conducted his first consignment auction in Oct. 2001. Rusty started competing in auctioneer contests immediately and was the 2002 Nebraska Rookie of the Year, 2005 Kansas State Champion Auctioneer, 2005 Pacific Open Division Champion, 2006 Nebraska State Champion Auctioneer, a multi-time finalist in the National Auctioneers Association International Auctioneer’s Contest (IAC).
As a young man, Rusty worked full time for three auction and real estate companies conducting real estate and personal property auctions nationwide. Rusty has conducted fundraising auctions for years raising $100,000’s of dollars for nonprofits.
Rusty is very active volunteering for area organizations serving as a Teammate mentor, President of the Minden Chamber of Commerce, United Way board member, Bethany Home board member, President of the Minden Public Schools Foundation, and is currently serving as President of the Minden Public Schools
Board of Education, just to name a few. He has been a member of the NE Auctioneers Association for 22 years and has served on the board of directors twice.
Rusty owns and operates Rhynalds Auction & Realty, LLC in Minden, NE, a full-service real estate and auction company. They specialize in real estate auctions, classic cars, estate, and collectibles and more.
However - the thing Rusty is most proud of is marrying the love of his life – Hailey, just shy of 16 years ago. They have three daughters Ruby (13), Rozy (12), & Racy (10). They are his everything.
His election, along with Hailey, his wife, who was elected as the NEAA Auxiliary President, was an- nounced at the 76th Annual Convention held at The Leadership Center, Aurora, Nebraska, April 26-28, 2024.
Adam Marshall, Adam Marshall Auctioneers & Land Brokers, Kearney, NE, was elected President-Elect, along with his wife, Jennifer, who was elected as the NEAA Auxiliary President-Elect.
Clay Schaardt, Schaardt Auction and Burrows Tracts Real Estate, Table Rock, NE, was elected Vice-President, along with his fiancé, Cassie Martin, who was elected as the NEAA Auxiliary Vice-President.
Newly elected board members include Kristin Kraupie, Kraupies Real Estate & Auctioneers, Bridgeport, NE; Clay Bixby, Bixby Auction Group, Ellsworth, NE; and Austin Creamer, Creamer Auction Co., LLC, Hartington, NE.
