ALLIANCE, Neb. - Alliance High School is currently on lockdown following a bomb threat received earlier today. As a precautionary measure, all other Alliance Public Schools have been placed on a temporary hold status.
At this time, all available intelligence and investigative information indicate the threat is likely not credible. However, in the interest of student and staff safety, school administration made the decision to evacuate Alliance High School.
Buses are currently en route to transport students to the Knight Museum in accordance with established reunification protocols. Parents will receive additional information and reunification instructions directly through Alliance Public Schools communication channels.
Parents and members of the public are strongly urged not to respond to Alliance High School at this time. Please follow reunification procedures at the Knight Museum to allow emergency personnel to safely manage the incident and maintain clear access to the campus.
The Alliance Police Department is actively investigating the threat and working closely with school officials to ensure the safety of students, staff and the community.
The Alliance Police Department appreciates the patience and cooperation of the public as this situation is addressed.
