An Alliance man was transported to a hospital after a vehicle accident.

On March 10 at approximately 11:52 a.m. Alliance Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of East 14th Street and Duncan Avenue to a three-vehicle accident.
A 2011 Dodge Journey van driven by an Alliance woman collided with a 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier station wagon driven by an Alliance man.
"As a result of the initial impact, the Cavalier struck a parked and unoccupied motor vehicle," Alliance Police Sgt. Cody Buskirk said. "It appears seatbelts were not in use in the Chevrolet Cavalier, but were in use in the Dodge Journey."
The driver of the Cavalier was transported to Box Butte General Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
No citations have been issued at this time.
No names of those involved in the accident were released.
