ALLIANCE, Neb. – Story Time for ages 3-6 at Alliance Public Library will feature Fire Safety with Alliance Fire Department on October 7 and 9, On the Farm for October 14 and 16, Favorite Colors for October 21 and 23 then Spooktacular Stories, Halloween Safety with Alliance Police Department and Costume Parade for October 28 and 30. Story Time meets on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m. in the Children’s Room with several stories, birthdays, music, puppets and craft.

Preschool through second grade are invited to Search for Gertie Ghost from October 1 through 31 during library hours with one prize per day and one prize per child.

Digital Detox Friday on October 3 will feature Halloween Magnets for preschool and over from 10-11 a.m. in the APL Community Room. Color a Halloween magnet to take home, with several designs to choose from plus all supplies are provided with no charge.
