This weeks road trip takes us to Bridgeport, Nebraska. Where there are two places that are a must to visit.
On the main street you will find Frankies Bar and Grill. It is a great place to go for lunch. Their menu is full of variety, and is amazing tasting. The burgers are huge with french fries galore. You cant beat the taste or the price. And if you like to play "pickle tickets" or keno, that is all available too. Plenty of tables and room for a couple of people, or a large group. Great food and great staff.
After you have had a wonderful lunch, go out the front door and head across the street. There you will find the 385 Meat Market. This place is fantastic!
The large meat counter invites you over, to choose steaks or other cuts for your grill. There is so much to choose from. Also there are many items in the freezer to ensure getting it home safely.
One of my favorites treats there is their Beef Jerky. They have 3 different kinds. It alone is worth the drive.
Another feature of the meat market, is a room full of everything you really need. Many kitchen items, and things for the home. I have found many a treasured gifts here.
