United Way is hosting their annual Campaign Kickoff luncheon on Wednesday, August 30 at noon at WNCC’s Harms Center at 2620 College Park in Scottsbluff. Karen Benzel talked on the KCOW Morning Show about the event.

"It's time to kick off the 2023-2024 campaign for United Way, that's when we announce our new campaign goal, which we are really excited about," Benzel said. "We also give out our Pace setter business of the year award, and this year we have a new award called the Partner Agency of the Year award."

Along with presenting awards, United Way of Western Nebraska will announce their new campaign co-chairs, and will hold&nbsp;a press conference at 11:30 am to allow time for questions prior to the campaign kickoff.&nbsp;
