ALLIANCE, Neb. – During the April 7, 2026, City Council Meeting, Co-Interim City Managers Shana Brown and Troy Shoemaker were recognized for their dedication while serving in this role in addition to leading their respective departments, Cultural &amp; Leisure Services and the Alliance Fire Department.

Mayor John McGhehey states, “The Council wanted to recognize the performance over the past five months of Chief Troy Shoemaker and Shana Brown as Co-Interim City Managers. They have worked together to coordinate the operations of the City with great diligence while supervising their own departments. Their success was also due to the efforts of all of the City's Department heads during this Period."
