Upgrades the to Alliance Recreation Center are underway, and a donation was made to the organization on Monday. Mara Anderson is the Executive Director of ARC and says that BNSF Railway were at the facility to present a check to the "Make More Possible Annual Giving Campaign. "BNSF Railway has been a great supporter of us for many years," Anderson said. "This year in particular, we're very excited to bring them on board as a partner of ours."
Anderson says that BNSF helped ARC by making a generous donation to help them reach their fundraising goal to start a capital project, which began in April. Anderson says that this year the focus is increasing capacity, particularly in the weight room.
At a later date this year, the ARC will plan to host a ribbon cutting event. Anderson would like to thank everyone who has given to the Make More Possible Annual Giving Campaign and thanks the community for their support.
