An Alliance man was sentenced on Monday to at least 17 years in prison for manufacturing child pornography.

30-year-old Angello Warfield was sentenced at Box Butte County Court at the Courthouse in Alliance on Monday, on one count of depiction of sexually explicit conduct, a class 1-D Felony.

Judge Derek Weimer of Sidney sentenced Warfield to a minimum of 17 years in prison and a maximum of 27 years, noting the seriousness in the case of the sexual exploitation of a child.

As a part of Nebraska law, Warfield will have to register as a sex offender. He will also be transferred to the Lincoln County Jail in North Platte to await sentencing in a separate case in Hooker County.
