Chadron Public Library continues to reopen services with precautions

The Chadron Public Library continues to reopen services. 

The library will still have restrictions and will be adopting a few precautions.

Starting Monday, Feb. 8 hours of operation will be as follows:

Monday through Friday

10:00 to 11:00 open, 11:00 to 11:15 closed for cleaning

11:15 to 12:15 open, 12:15 to 12:30 closed for cleaning

12:30 to 1:30 open,  1:30 to 1:45 closed for cleaning

1:45 to 2:45 open,  2:45 to 3:00 closed for cleaning

3:00 to 4:00 open,  4:00 to 4:15 closed for cleaning

4:15 to 4:45 open,  4:45 closed for the day

Saturday

12:00 to 1:00 open,  1:00 to 1:15 closed for cleaning

1:15 to 2:15 open,  2:15 to 2:30 closed for cleaning

2:30 to 3:30 open,  3:30 to 3:45 closed for cleaning

3:45 to 4:45 open 

"This schedule is provisionary and meant to provide protection for the public and the library staff while COVID-19’s presence continues to decrease in our region," Chadron Public Library Director Rossella Tesch said. 

· Borrowed material still placed in bins for quarantine.

· Public will be able to checkout five items instead of the current three.

· Stacks are open for public use. Public will place items pulled out of shelves on designated carts for disinfection.

· Visits to the library continue to be limited to one per person per day.
