Timothy Glen Munger passed away at his rural Alliance, Nebraska home on Friday, January 31, 2025. He was 56 years of age.
Tim was born on September 19, 1967 in Alliance, Nebraska to Glen and Barbara (Kampbell) Munger, and grew up at the Munger Ranch north of Ellsworth. Like everyone else who's lived there, he loved the Sandhills. He attended grade school in Ellsworth and graduated from Hyannis High School with the Class of 1986. After college, Cover Jones in Alliance became his work home for 35 years until he retired. He enjoyed stock car racing, tough trucks, hunting and fishing. Mostly he enjoyed being a Papa to Kirra and Chloe and a side-kick to M.J.
Tim and Ruby married on December 31, 1996 and always enjoyed a good drive down a road they'd never traveled.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; sons, Michael Rosane of Gordon, Nebraska and Jay Bradford of Alliance, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Kirra, Chloe, and M.J. Bradford. He is also survived by his sister and her husband, Angela and Joe Kelley of Seward, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Bob Grover of Gordon, Nebraska; and sister-in-law, Trena Grover of Rapid City, South Dakota; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his aunt, Linda Luce of Hemingford, Nebraska.
Tim was a hardworking, kind and gentle soul. He was Ruby's Good Stuff. His spirit will live in our hearts forever. Doksa, Tim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Jan Grover; nephews, Gregg Grover and Joe Davis; and a niece, Valorie Fankhauser.
A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the Box Butte County Fairgrounds Multi-Purpose Hall. It will be a casual gathering with a meal following.
