Posted Dec 16, 2020 5:15 PM

In a year-end letter to its members, the Hemingford Chamber of Commerce looks at positives from 2020 and sets plans for 2021.

Chamber President Blanche Randolph and Vice-President Marcie Thomas note: "We have seen businesses grow, expand, and diversity to meet the needs of our community. We have seen new businesses start. It's been a challenging and exciting year for commerce in Hemingford. As we look forward to continued success for businesses in Hemingford... we are looking forward to working with our business community to establish goals and continue advancing businesses here in Hemingford.

"We want to implement Chamber awards, continue ribbon cuttings, Member spotlights, shop local campaigns, and facilitate networking opportunities. There is so much that can be learned from each other. We want to give you opportunities to learn and brain storm with fellow small town entrepreneurs. We also want to promote events that draw people to Hemingford. To us this means being present and promoting the fair, continuing Treats on the Street, and creating a holiday event that gives patrons the opportunity to shop local...We are excited to head the Chamber and adapt as business has adapted. We just have one thing to ask of you, we ask for support. We ask that you participate, attend a meeting, share a Facebook post, or join in our mission. Our success lies within all of us. All of our participation and all of our passion.

"Please mark your calendars for January 19, 2021 for our annual meeting. This will be held at the Mobius conference room at 9am. Membership renewals will be sent out in January. We hope that you will renew your membership and grow with us in 2021. We look forward to your support throughout the year and we are truly excited to see what the new year has for Hemingford."
