The 15th annual Light of Hope Fundraiser event is in Gering on Thursday. The event's theme is "it takes a village," and will be from 5-7 p.m. at the Gering Civic Center.
The guest speaker will be Lori Rodriguez-Fletcher who will speak on the mental health of children today.
Free will donations will be accepted at the event.
