Darrell G Robertson, age 96 of Bridgeport, NE died October 23, 2023 at Bridgeport, NE.
His memorial service will be November 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport, NE with Pastor Steven Seng officiating. Casual attire please- No ties!! Interment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Memorials in Darrell’s honor may be made to your favorite charity or to the family for future designation. Darrell was born December 19, 1926 in Redington, NE to Albert William and Eva ReNetta (Snavely) Robertson and welcomed by older sister Dolores Arlene. He received his early education at the small country school nearby, Darrell graduated Bridgeport High School in 1944 before joining the US Navy, training in Oklahoma and serving in both California and Hawaii aboard the USS Hornet CV-12.
