SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – United Way of Western Nebraska is pleased to announce a new partnership with Food Bank for the Heartland expanding mobile food pantries in their service area. The first pantry in Scottsbluff County will be a drive-thru mobile food pantry on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. at the Guadalupe Center, located at 1200 East 9th Street in Scottsbluff.

This free event is open to the public and provides food for families in need, with one distribution per household. The Mobile Pantry Program delivers fresh and shelf-stable food directly to communities with a high need but limited food resources. These one-day, drive-through distributions are free to attend. Community packs include various shelf-stable items. Along with community packs, other items distributed can include assorted produce, bread, and dairy products.

A brief intake form will be completed for each household receiving food. If you are unable to attend, a proxy form is available to allow a family member or friend to pick up food on your behalf. Forms can be picked up in advance at:

- United Way Office: 1517 Broadway, Suite 106 in Scottsbluff or at uwwn.org/united-food-network
