Candice L. Rau, 48, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her home in Alliance with her family by her side.
She was born March 19, 1973 in Alliance, Nebraska.
On February 25, 2000 she was united in marriage to Robert P. Rau. Candy was known for her fun loving witty personality and she enjoyed time with family and friends at the lake. Her favorite day was 4/20.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, her sons, Robert and Peyton all of Alliance, her grandson, Braxton Rau, her mother, Libby Umphenour of Beatrice, NE, her sister, Carla Hinojosa of Scottsbluff and her brother, Scott (Britany) Henzler of Beatrice. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Barbara Rau of Alliance, her sister-in-law, Dawn Elford of Alliance and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Monday, January 10 from 1-7 p.m. with the family present from 4-6 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home.
