For the 16th straight year, the Mission Store Inc. in Alliance is offering Mini-Grants for all organized, not for profits groups of Box Butte County. The program started on Sept. 1. and runs to Oct. 15.
Funds must be used for projects to benefit the whole organization and all applicants must include the following in their proposals:
-Name and description of program or event that they are requesting funding for.
-Explanation how grant funds will be used.
- Description of target audience.
-The Program goals and expected outcome.
-A statement that explains how the funds will assist in making the program into a reality.
The Mission Mini-Grant Program has given back a total $65,000 to the community in 2022, and applications can be picked up at the Mission Store during store hours 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, or by mail to the Alliance Mission Store, PO Box 179, Alliance NE 69301.
They must be postmarked on or before October 15.
