VALENTINE, Neb.-A Valentine police officer was injured after being run over by a front loader.
According to the Cherry County Sheriff's Office, officer Jasmine Hoefs was investigating a scene and assisting Emergency Medical Services on Friday when a front-end loader accidentally ran her over.
Authorities said Hoefs was transported to Cherry County Hospital with serious injuries. Officer Hoefs has undergone multiple surgeries.
The Sheriff's Office said Hoefs has reached out on social media thanking the community and said she appreciates the prayers and good vibes and asked for those to continue.
