Funeral services for Craig LaFontsee, of Chadron, will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska with Dr. Russ Seger officiating. Burial will follow at Bodarc Cemetery in Harrison, Nebraska.
Craig LaFontsee, 65, passed away unexpectedly in his home. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and member of his community. He is survived by his loving mother Bonnie LaFontsee, brother Chris LaFontsee and his nephew Chris LaFontsee Jr. Craig was born on June 9, 1955 at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento CA. He later moved to Nebraska where he worked for Chadron State College and retired after 25 years of service. He also enjoyed working at the State Armory and the people he worked with.
