Alliance, NE – The Alliance Public Schools Foundation recently announced that Jenny Lanik, a 1999 graduate of Alliance High School, has been appointed as its new Director. Lanik has been working in education for nearly twenty years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education, as well as a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  She is currently employed with the Alliance Public Schools as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.

Lanik's appointment carries special significance, as she is the granddaughter of the late Bob Duryea, who dedicated nearly 30 years to the district as Business Manager, was honored as a Wall of Fame member, and played a pivotal role in establishing the very foundation Lanik now leads.

The Alliance Public Schools Foundation supports students and teachers through scholarships, grants, and other initiatives designed to enhance educational opportunities. With Lanik at the helm, the foundation is poised to expand its outreach and further its mission of promoting excellence in education while partnering with the community to support our schools and raising money for scholarships for students and grants for teachers.

For more information about the Alliance Public Schools Foundation, or if you would like to donate, please contact Jenny Lanik at alliancepsfoundation@gmail.com, visit https://alliancepsfoundation.weebly.com or follow on Facebook at Alliance Public Schools Foundation.

The mission of the Alliance Public Schools Foundation is to promote excellence in education by developing a partnership between our schools and community, which will increase and enhance educational opportunities for all students.
