SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. - Western Nebraska Community College Interim President John Marrin is leading a series of public listening sessions this spring. WNCC will visit all 13 counties in its service area, which consists of the Nebraska Panhandle.
The listening session in Sioux County is scheduled for Thursday, May 12 from 1-2 p.m. at the Courthouse Conference Room in Harrison. All interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend.
"We want to hear from as many people as possible," said Marrin. "We are in the process of building our next strategic plan that will bring together WNCC's vision to positively impact the education and well-being of every student, employer, and community member in the Panhandle."
The session will feature a brief presentation and extensive time for question-and-answer exchange. Refreshments will be provided.
Remaining sessions have been scheduled for Cherry County (location TBD) on May 20; Kimball County (Kimball) on May 25; and Grant County (Hyannis) on June 1.
