Courtney P. Sherfey, 33, died Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her home in Hemingford.
She was born March 9, 1989 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Christopher Paul and Shannon Marie (Groess) Goulson.
Courtney enjoyed music, gaming and spending time with her friends. She also liked watching movies, especially The Night Before Christmas. She loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. She especially loved her cats and her dog.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Shannon and Craig Peterson of Gurley; her father, Christopher Goulson of Pine River, MN; her fiancé and his children, Lyle, Abel and Evie Coker of Hemingford; her sister, Stephanie Peterson of Enderlin, ND; her brothers, Tyler (Jackie) Christofferson and Cody (Alicia) Christofferson, all of Alliance; her grandfather, Jim Groess of Tampa, FL; and her grandmother, Carol Goulson of Minnesota.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Courtney’s life will be held at a later date.
