The Alliance Rec Center recently expanded their weight room among other renovations and upgrades. ARC Executive Director Mara Anderson recently talked about the renovations.
"This has taken many years, we have gotten new equipment, and we built on that inventory," Anderson said. ""Now we're at the point where we have the facility that matches it and expands our weight room space."
Anderson says that the weight room expansion came about from the annual 'Make More Possible' campaign that included other projects like the ARC park outside, new classroom space and more.
Anderson says there is ribbon cutting ceremony coming up soon to celebrate the expansion. The event will be on September 22nd and the public is welcome to come to event and also take a tour of the facility at any time. For more information, check out the ARC at www.alliancereccenter.com.
