Box Butte General Hospital (BBGH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bridgett Linger as the new Chief Quality Officer (CQO). With more than eight years of leadership experience across healthcare, Linger brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for rural healthcare to BBGH. “We are excited to welcome Bridgett to the executive team. Her extensive background in continuous improvement and healthcare administration will make her a great asset for us moving forward,” said Gabriel Behling, CEO at BBGH.
Linger is bringing her experience in key specialties such as setting the vision for quality initiatives, developing comprehensive policies aligned with business goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across operations. “I am incredibly honored to join the team at Box Butte General Hospital and look forward to serving our patients,” said Linger. “Healthcare excellence relies on a foundational culture of accountability and continuous improvement. I look forward to partnering with our staff to strengthen our standards and deliver the highest level of compassionate care to our community.”
Born and raised in rural East Tennessee, Linger holds a Bachelor of Science from Bryan College and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is certified through the National Association of Healthcare Quality as a Healthcare Quality Professional. In her new role, Linger will work closely with leaders, managers, and employees across departments to help embed quality into daily practices, strengthen communication around quality-related initiatives, and support an organizational culture focused on efficiency, accountability, and excellence.
Outside of work, Linger enjoys reading and browsing antique shops with her son. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Business Administration at Capella University.
