School and activities and athletics have been going strong at local schools and that includes Chadron State College. CSC has a new President in Dr. Ron K. Patterson. He is the 12th president of CSC and comes to the University of North Alabama where he most recently was the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Dr. Patterson was recently a guest on the CSC Sports Journal with Dave Collins, and he talked about some upgrades to CSC athletic facilities.
"We recently repainted and refinished our women's volleyball and men's and women's basketball courts, that's a project that was recently completed and it looks really great," Patterson said.
Patterson was asked if there are any projects that CSC has on deck at the moment, and he says the goal right now is to maintain the facilities and programs that they have at Chadron State. He also has the following listening tour visits around Western Nebraska and region:
