Non-life-threatening-injuries following semi rollover south of Hyannis

At approximately 7:03 a.m. on May 8, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was called to a hazmat semi rollover on Highway 61, south of Hyannis.

"After being extracted from the vehicle, the driver, a 64-year-old man from the North Platte area, was determined not to have life threatening injuries," Grant County Sheriff Mike Rath said. 

Rath said seat belts were in use. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation. 

Sandhills Area Fire District, Grant County Ambulance and North Platte Fire Department hazmat crews assisted with this accident.
