At approximately 7:03 a.m. on May 8, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was called to a hazmat semi rollover on Highway 61, south of Hyannis.&nbsp;

"After being extracted from the vehicle, the driver, a 64-year-old man from the North Platte area, was determined not to have life threatening injuries," Grant County Sheriff Mike Rath said.&nbsp;

The cause of the accident is under investigation.&nbsp;

Sandhills Area Fire District, Grant County Ambulance and North Platte Fire Department hazmat crews assisted with this accident.&nbsp;
