The Community Services office at Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) in conjunction with Nebraska Appleseed wants to remind the public that the income levels for SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) have increased. If your family has applied for SNAP in the past and been turned down, NCAP urges you to reapply at ACCESS Nebraska as there is a good chance that you will be eligible for benefits.

Also, SNAP benefits can be saved throughout the year and all food can be purchased at once. For instance, if a family gets $15.00 per month at the end of 12 months there will be $180.00 on your benefit card.

NCAP serves low income residents by providing food supports, SNAP education, emergency services such as utility disconnects, homeless prevention services, and other needs. For more information about SNAP please call our main office at 308-432-3393.
