A Winter Storm Warning (pink) is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday morning for Carbon County and far western Albany County, including Rawlins, Saratoga, Arlington and Shirley Basin.
For the lower elevations, expect heavy snow and some blowing snow, with total accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds will gust up to 40 mph Monday night.
Expect dangerous wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero.
For the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges, expect heavy snow with total accumulations of 12 to 20 inches, and extremely dangerous wind chills as low as 40 degrees below zero.
A Winter Storm Watch (blue) is in effect for much of southeast Wyoming and the northern Nebraska Panhandle, including Douglas, Lusk, Wheatland and Chadron from Monday morning through Tuesday morning.

Heavy snow will be possible with total accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, and extremely dangerous wind chills as low as 40 degrees below zero.
A Winter Weather Advisory (purple) is in effect for the Laramie Valley and Southern Laramie Range, including Laramie and Vedauwoo, from late Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.
Snow and blowing snow are expected with total accumulations of 2 to 5 inches and dangerous wind chills as low as 40 degrees below zero.
