Lillian P. Potter passed away March 25, 2026 in Phoenix, AZ with loved ones by her side. Born July 10, 1945, she was a spirited 80 years young and will be deeply missed.

Lillian will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who found purpose in helping others.  Her life was marked by compassion, service, and a strong commitment to those in need.  She loved fiercely and without hesitation, giving her whole heart to those she cherished. That love will remain her lasting legacy, carried forward by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her spirit was unmistakable—feisty and steadfast. Lillian’s beliefs ran deep, her words were fearless, and her stance never wavered.  She lived with conviction, strength, and an unshakable sense of who she was.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Potter II of AZ, children Gilbert (Tillie) Carlin of CA, Theresa (Tim) Broad of Alliance, John Carlin of SD, Donald III (Jamie) Potter of SD, Kristine Romano of MA, her brother Arthur Ramirez of IA, grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Macario Ramirez and Victoria Hernandez; her in-laws, Donald Sr. and Stella Potter; her son-in-law, Norman Romano; and nephews Orlando and Anthony Ramirez.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Matt Koperski officiating.  A rosary service will be Friday, April 24th at 7:00 PM. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery.  Charitable donations in Lillian’s honor can be made to the Humane Society of Yuma at 4050 S Avenue 4 E 1/2 E, Yuma, AZ 85365.
