The local schools in Alliance are holding their Veterans Day programs on Friday.
Alliance High School is holding their program at the PAC on Friday at 11:45 a.m.
St. Agnes Academy will be holding their Veterans Day program on Friday at 9 a.m. in the Parish Center. Speakers will include Lieutenant Colonel Robert Martinez and Veteran Steve Nelson.
Other programming will include various patriotic songs and presentations from the students.
The Soup Luncheon is put on by the Alliance Area Churches and held at the Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Friday starting at 11 a.m. and will run through Nov. 12.
The Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday at 10:00 in downtown Alliance.
