Two sentenced for distributing drugs in Box Butte County

A man and a woman were each sentenced to at least three years in prison after being convicted on Monday for distribution of a controlled substance in Box Butte County.

32-year-old Paige Debus was sentenced in Box Butte County District Court on a count of Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine which is a mandatory four years in prison not more than six. Debus was also sentenced on Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Fentanyl, which is a mandatory six years and maximum of eight.

It was ordered that Debus will serve her sentences consecutively.

61-year-old Frankie Buresh was also convicted on felony drug charges in Box Butte County, though Buresh's case was connected to Debus's.

Buresh was sentenced to up to five years in prison on Monday on one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to distribute Methamphetamine. Buresh will be eligible for parole in three years.
