ALLIANCE, Neb. – Register at the Alliance Public Library circulation desk for Story Time Stars with ages 3-6 and LEGO Club for grades K-5. Story Time will resume on Sept. 2 and 4 featuring My Family for the theme. Story Time is shared on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m. in the APL Children’s Room with several stories, birthdays, music, puppets and craft.
LEGO Club for grades K-2 will be on the first and third Tuesdays each month. LEGO Club for grades 3-5 will be on the second Tuesday each month. Both of these groups will meet from 4-5 p.m. in the APL Community Room.
Fridays will feature several Digital Detox events for a variety of age groups. Sept. 5 will feature a craft event for grades 3 and over from 10-11:30 a.m. in the APL Community Room to make a special gift for their grandparents. Cost is $10 per project with payment and registration due before Aug. 20 at the circulation desk. Sept. 12 will be School Days Story Time for preschool through second grade at Highland Park Care Center from 10-11 a.m. We’ll share several stories and a creative project during this intergenerational time together.
