Chadron Community Hospital is celebrating National Hospital Week, May 8th through May 13th, and National Nurses Week May 6th (also known as National Nurses Day)-12th.

National Hospital Week celebrates hospitals, and the men and women who, day in and day out, support the health of their communities through compassionate care, constant innovation, and unwavering, unmatched dedication. This year’s National Nurses Week theme is “You Make a Difference”. It’s a time to honor the various roles of nurses and the positive impact nurses have on the lives of others. Now more than ever, hospitals play a vital role in improving community health across the nation – this extends far beyond strictly providing medical care. We would like to take this year’s National Hospital Week as an opportunity to thank all of the dedicated individuals on our team for their dedication and commitment. The COVID-19 pandemic may be on the decline, but health care professionals are still here ready to care for their community. We are asking the public to join in this effort to help celebrate National Hospital Week, and National Nurses week, by showing support to all health care workers.

Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services is celebrating our employees this week with a variety of Food Trucks, and a Popcorn and Ice Cream cart. The following food trucks will be here for employees to enjoy throughout the week:

Wednesday, May 10 – On The Spot Catering (Taco Truck) – 11am-2pm

Friday, May 12 – Kingdom Grillers – 11am-2pm
