CHADRON, Neb. - The coming week of March 23 through March 27 is severe weather awareness week. On Wednesday at 9 a.m., the 911 Center at the Chadron Police Dept. will sound all area Tornado Sirens in conjunction with a statewide Tornado Warning exercise. Sirens will sound for three minutes with a steady tone during the Tornado Warning test, at 9 a.m. this Wednesday. Sirens should sound at that time in Chadron, Crawford, Harrison and Whitney.
