The City of Alliance experienced a power outage around 7:10 am Wednesday morning. City Electric Superintendent Kirby Bridge tells Panhandlepost News...The power outage was due to an auto accident, with two poles being hit and knocked down near the intersection of 3rd and Black Hills, resulting in a thrown switch. Power has now been restored to most customers and crews will be working to reestablish the affected poles throughout the day. The outage lasted approximately 40 minutes.
