ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Alliance Recreation Center (ARC) is proud to announce the continued success of its 2026 Make More Possible Annual Giving Campaign, a community-wide effort to ensure every child, family and individual in Alliance has access to health, connection and opportunity.

This year’s campaign focuses on expanding access through scholarships, investing in facility improvements and responding to the evolving needs of local families.

A key contributor to this effort is Parker, whose generous $10,000 grant served as the lead gift to help drive the campaign forward. Parker Plant Manager Chris Nelson shared the company’s appreciation for the ARC’s impact, noting the importance of its summer camp and afterschool programs, as well as the development of the 5th Day Out program in response to Alliance’s four-day school week.

Thanks to strong community support, the campaign has already reached several major milestones. With Parker’s lead gift and continued support, the ARC has successfully unlocked a $20,000 matching scholarship fund gift from the John and Diane Scott Foundation and secured a $50,000 grant from the Sherwood Foundation.

To date, the campaign has raised $142,000 with support from 140 donors, leaving approximately $18,000 remaining to reach its $160,000 goal.

Funds raised will support new youth recreation scholarships, ensuring all children can participate in sports regardless of financial barriers, as well as financial assistance for memberships, afterschool and summer programs. Additional investments will include facility improvements such as updated upper-level fitness and classroom spaces and the replacement of aging cardio equipment, along with the addition of new machines to better serve all ages.

In 2025 alone, the ARC provided over $41,000 in financial aid, supporting individuals and families across the community. This represents a 68 percent increase from 2024, highlighting a need that continues to grow.

“We are incredibly grateful for partners like Parker and for every donor who has stepped up so far,” said ARC Executive Director Revé Fries. “This campaign is about making sure no one in our community is left behind and that we can continue to provide programs, health and recreation opportunities for everyone.”
