The City of Alliance proclaimed this Saturday as Small Business Saturday, Alliance Chamber of Commerce Director Owen Burnett thanks the city for the proclamation and encourages the public to shop local this holiday season.
"Small business is what keeps our town thriving, so it's great for the city to honor the small businesses in that way," Burnett said. "Obviously this a great week for shopping so we encourage everyone to buy local," Burnett said.
Burnett says that there will be extended hours at many Alliance businesses during the holiday season.
