Cameron A. Adamson, Sheakleyville passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning on January 7, 2021. He was 22.
Cameron was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 12, 1998 a son of Daryl G. Adamson and Lori A. McCracken. He was a 2016 graduate of Conneaut Area High School where he was active in the wrestling program and had studied diesel mechanics at the Crawford County Vo Tech. Following his graduation Cameron enlisted in the US Marine Corp and had served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He was attached to the 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Division and had attained the rank of Corporal. Cameron was responsible for maintaining and repairing small arms. He enjoyed working on vehicles and also the company of his many friends. He enjoyed his loyal and constant companion, “Loci”, a Czech Shepard K-9 who was always by his side.
Cameron is survived by his father, Naval Commander Daryl G. Adamson, serving with the US Navy, stationed in Guam; his mother, Lori A. Adamson, Sheakleyville; a sister, Kayleigh Adamson, Pittsburgh; his maternal grandfather, William J. McCracken, Springboro and paternal grandmother, Eloise Adamson, Alliance, NE.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Stanley H. Adamson; maternal grandmother, Jo Ann Porfolio and her husband Anthony; a step grandmother, Beverly McCracken; his great grandmother, Kathryn E. McCracken; a great aunt, Kimerly McCracken and an aunt, Stephanie Williams.
For those comfortable in attending the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, the funeral service will be lived streamed on the funeral home website at www.snyderfh.com Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm.
