Alliance High School junior, Dracen Buschow, received an Eagle Scout badge of honor following a ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at VFW Post 1517 in Alliance.
Approximately 60 people were in attendance. Only seven out of 100 Scouts ever achieve this honor. Dracen spent four years in cub scouts, six and a half years in boy scouts, earned 50 merit badges and 6 Eagle palms, and now his Eagle Scout pin.
His Eagle Scout Project was dedicated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Box Butte County.
