Wilma E. Knaub, 93, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Highland Park Care Center.
Wilma was born October 23, 1930 in Gering, Nebraska and raised by her parents, Carl and Jessie (Zimmerman) Hansen.
She married Loyd Knaub on June 18, 1950 in Hemingford, Nebraska. Wilma was a hardworking woman throughout her life and together they took great pride in taking care of their family. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her children, Dwight (Mitzi) Knaub, Lois (Dan) Robertson and Connie (Chuck) Kelley all of Alliance, and Mike Knaub of Lincoln. She is also survived by her brothers, John (Connie) Hansen of Alliance and Dennis (Pat) Hansen of Lincoln; her sister, Carla Smith of Vista, CA; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Patty and an infant daughter, her grandson Shane Hood, her great-granddaughter Konner Kipper, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Pastor Russell Saito will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hemingford Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. The family will be present to greet friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
