CRAWFORD, Neb.— The hunt is nearly over.
Heritage Seed & Feed has released Clue #5, the biggest hint yet in its Seek the Golden Seed Treasure Hunt, narrowing the search for the hidden Golden Seed worth $500.
Treasure hunters already know the Golden Seed is hidden somewhere within the city limits of Crawford, in a public location where water plays an important role. Now, Jason's latest clue points searchers to Crawford City Park.
According to the clue, participants should focus on a place where visitors often pause before enjoying everything the park has to offer and where "the sound of water welcomes you on a warm summer day."
The final hint encourages searchers not to be afraid to get their hands — and maybe even their feet — a little wet, reminding participants that "sometimes the greatest treasures aren't found by staying dry."
The first person to locate the Golden Seed and follow the contest rules will win the $500 grand prize.
The Seek the Golden Seed Treasure Hunt is sponsored by Heritage Seed & Feed in Crawford and Hauser Grab & Go.
Additional contest information and clues are available at Heritage Seed & Feed, and updates can be found on Panhandle Post and Double Q Country.
The Golden Seed is still out there. Happy hunting!
