Alliance – The City of Alliance would like to remind the residents of the City’s Ordinance for planting and maintenance of vegetation in alleyways, sidewalks, and roads.
It is the owners or occupants’ responsibility to keep tree branches, bushes, and shrubs trimmed so as not to project into or over any publicly used road surface.
Streets and alleys need to be free of any growth of eight inches or more of weeds, grasses, or worthless vegetation.
Any violation of the Ordinance will be considered a nuisance and responsible parties will be cited. This is done for the safety of the citizens and the utility workers.
