Eileen Joyce Jensen, 79 passed away surrounded by her loved ones as she entered the gates of heavens on Friday, June 11, 2021 after she fought a hard fight of cancer.
Eileen was born March 9, 1942 in Rosebud, South Dakota to Lena Irene (Janis) Jensen and Antoine Jensen. She attended School in Alliance, Nebraska, where she later hired on with the BNSF. Eileen made many friends she was never scared to get her hands dirty in the kitchen or teach her kids and family new things. She had a heart of gold and she was always proud of her family and stood by her native heritage.
In 1959 she married Thomas Estrada where they began a family and had 5 kids, Kirk Estrada, Keith Estrada, Martie Estrada, Landis Estrada and Tammy Estrada. Later in life she had another daughter Jamie Jensen.
Eileen is survived by her children, Kirk Estrada of Albuquerque New Mexico, Keith Estrada of Alliance NE, Martie Loch of Alliance NE, Landis Estrada of Denver CO, Tammy (Monte) Hovik of Alliance NE and Jamie Jensen of Alliance NE and her sister, Carol Sutton of Alliance NE. She is also survived by her grandchildren Hayley (Tyler) Whitsett of Hernando MS, Danyel (Johnny) Galvin of Alliance NE, Nicholes Hovik of Alliance NE, AJ (Laura) Loch of Denver CO and Thomas Adams of Dallas TX. She is also survived by family members and friends including her niece Darcy Sutton of Alliance NE and Nichole Estrada of Phoenix AZ, Matthew Estrada LaCrosse WI, the DuBray Family, LittleHoop Family and Picket Pin Family.
Funeral services will be Thursday June 17th, 2021 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Father Tim Stoner will officiate and burial will be Calvary Cemetery. A wake service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Her pallbearers will be Monte Hovik, Thomas Adams, Robert Jensen, Anthony Loch and Larry Nuss. Honorary pallbearers will be Hayley Whitsett, Martie Loch, Carol Sutton, Darcy Sutton and Dan Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Francis Jensen and Antonie Jensen and her brother-in-law, Andy Sutton.
