An Alliance man has died after a vehicle accident on Highway 2 in Sheridan County.
On Dec. 9 at approximately 7:15 a.m. a Ford pickup driven by 40 year old Grant Mann of Alliance was eastbound on Highway 2 near Ellsworth and crossed the center line crashing into a westbound Chevrolet pickup.
Mann was transported to Box Butte General Hospital and later died due to injuries in the accident.
"The driver of the Chevrolet, a minor, was transported to Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff with serious injuries," Nebraska State Patrol Spokesman Cody Thomas said. "Seat belts were in use by both drivers."
The crash remains under investigation.
