The Dawes County emergency dispatch will be conducting a tornado drill this morning at or shortly after 9 a m this morning.
This is in coordination with a state wide exercise.
We will also sound the tornado warning sirens for three minutes to test their operation. This will only be a test, there is no severe weather today.
Please use this time to go over your personal tornado shelter plan you should have if there were to be an actual storm requiring you to seek shelter.
