Debra J. Dikin Dahna, 57 died Saturday, September, 25, 2021, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
She was born on July 16, 1964 in Alliance, Nebraska, the daughter of Michael J. Sr. and Reva J. (Willis) Dikin. She was a Dodge City, Kansas, resident for the past 22 years spending 18 of those years being a teacher for the Dodge City Public School system. She also worked for DCF, St. Francis and her most recent job as a Bus Driver. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Dodge City.
She enjoyed working with kids and spending time with her family especially her great nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed scrap booking. She loved her dogs and serving her church especially working with the children’s ministry.
On June 5, 2004 she married Harry Dahna at Emporia, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors also include: her mother, Reva Dikin, Emporia; her sister, Kelly Mahoney and husband Pat, Phoenix, Arizona; her brother, Michael J. Dikin Jr., Emporia, Kansas; 3 nephews, Dan Dikin and wife Jenny, Wichita, Kansas, Nic Dikin, Kansas City, Kansas and Tavo Dikin, Kansas City, Kansas; 2 great nieces, Caroline and Grace Dikin; and her great nephew, Michael Dikin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael J. Dikin Sr., and her brother, Darryl J. Dikin.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Monday, October, 4, 2021 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with Rev. Steve Ormord officiating. Burial will follow in Greencrest Memorial Garden, Dodge City. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
