Alliance, NE – As part of the ongoing 2nd Street Road Rehabilitation Project, Peltz Construction will close Howard Avenue beginning Thursday, July 23rd, 2026. Williamette Avenue is scheduled to be completed and reopened the evening of Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to complete roadway improvements safely and efficiently. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the construction area.
At this time, the closure is expected to remain in place for approximately one month; however, the duration may vary depending on weather conditions and construction progress. Updates will be provided as work advances and additional information becomes available.
