May is Mental Health Awareness Month, it is important to remember that you are not alone; now or ever - help is available, and recovery is possible.
Addressing mental health symptoms early is critically important for overall health. At Western Community Health Resources, we can help you address daily stressors that may be affecting your mental health. We can help connect you to resources in the community such as rental assistance, prescription assistance, basic care items, medication management, WIC assistance, respite, reproductive health services, immunizations, and much more. We can also help connect you with a mental health provider who can help you develop a plan for addressing and treating your mental health concerns. We also offer youth services! Did you know that 7 out of 10 young people say mental health is weighing them down, yet most of these individuals have difficulty finding and asking for help?
Life can be challenging, but every day shouldn’t feel hard or out of your control. If you feel that you may be experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, take a mental health screening at mhascreening.org.
